The eAcademy

OUR SCHOOL
Who is The eAcademy?
The eAcademy is a full-time online school with the purpose of providing education electronically, to ease the path to excellence.

The eAcademy model was initiated as a continuous charity (Sadaqa Jaariya) concept where we aim and pray that it is successful to benefit students for many years to come.

The eAcademy utilises and promotes the idea of flip learning, which is instructional content delivered online using a dedicated learning management system(LMS). The lessons are arranged and assigned by qualified and trained teachers to suit independent learning. The lessons include activities, assessment for learning, videos and other instructional aids to support students working at their own pace.

In addition, The eAcademy delivers live lessons once a day to delve deeper into subjects, answer specific questions, consolidate learning and discuss feedback. Prior to each live lesson, the teacher will assess all completed work and provide feedback using interactive methods.

What makes us different?

Our curricula are according to International and National UK standards, using benchmark assessment and progress checking tools along the way. This ensures the students and their parents can always measure or assess where they are at, where they need to get to and how they can get there. We ensure our curricula are delivered smoothly and thoroughly with the use of interactive and creative lessons. Each individual student is assigned to a mentor who is available for student and parental support.

We promote the idea of flip learning due to the understanding that the early generations learnt in this way, including the period of time of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). This means students studied from the comfort of their home, spent time revising, carried out relevant independent learning and then went to the Prophet (PBUH) or their teacher and clarified ideas, consolidated learning and delved deeper into subjects.

We also offer optional Islamic, Quran and Arabic subjects free of charge to all students. This is to ensure students develop their spiritual, moral and ethical aspects of their personality which is essential to living a rewarding life. This idea is further discussed through our E-pastoral concept.

The eAcademy uses an evaluative and efficient process to constantly develop and improve learning experiences for students as well as ensure students are outperforming national standards by using International benchmark assessment tools.

Parental Engagement

We promote and encourage the opportunity for parental engagement enabling parents to be more involved. This is also a key driver to the concept of The eAcademy. Many parents from a variety of backgrounds, for numerous reasons have opted to home school their children. However, providing the structure, assessment tracking, progress checking and other educational elements can be a challenge. The eAcademy provides parents the opportunity to be involved with a more hands on approach, confiding in us, the professionals to provide the expertise in educational elements to support the learning and development of their child.

The eAcademy recognises that parental guidance and support is an essential aspect for education at all ages. In particular for the EYFS and Key stage 1 learning to take place due to the vital developmental stages of children at that point of their lives.
